Kelly's Port is a new and used boat dealership and marina at Lake of the Ozarks.  Selling Regal and Bennington boats, Kelly's Port has become a mainstay for boaters at Lake of the Ozarks since 1977.  Offering new and used boat sales, full service department including on-water service calls, fiberglass repair, dry storage, wet storage, finance/insurance, full parts department, gas dock, and ship store - we have everything you need to cover your boating needs at Lake of the Ozarks.

History

Kelly's Port original facility was built in 1929 before the completion of the Great Osage River. Known first as the Rocky Comfort Hotel, the resort was one of the first establishments on the Lake and as time went by the business evolved and became Gaitlin's Boat Yard - the first marina at the Lake of the Ozarks to see and service boats.

Randy & Jane Kelly's involvement began May 25th, 1977 after a stint in the saloon business in Kansas City at Kelly's Westport Inn (www.KellysWestPortInn.com).   After the marina got on its feet, Jane went on to real estate in 1979 and has been recognized multiple times as the largest Re/Max agent in the three state region (www.JaneKelly.com).

Kelly's Port Marina has continued to grow from the first days in 1977. In 1993, we broke ground on the Osage Beach Marina which is now recognized as our marina facility. This location offers all of the amenities of a full service marina including sales, wet slips, dry dock storage, seasonal cabin rental, ship store, gas dock, swimming pool and what has been recognized as the best service facility in the Lake area.

In June of 2007, we opened the Lake's first 8,400 sq. ft. retail boat showroom with the ability to show boats up to 50 foot indoors.

Being Regal's oldest dealer and the first to rank in the Top 10 in Sales and Top 10 in Customer Satisfaction was a testament to the commitment of Kelly's Port. With customer satisfaction rating at the highest level with Mercruiser and Volvo Penta.

Kelly's Port was voted among the Top 100 Dealers in North America by Boating Industry Magazine  (http://www.boating-industry.com/output.cfm?id=2692243).  Kelly's Port was ranked #22 in North America - highest in the state of Missouri.

In 2010, Kelly's Port was also rated as Best Marina by PowerBoat Magazine in a Reader's Choice Award (http://powerboatmag.com/readers-choice-winners-revealed.html).

Owner - Randy Kelly

Randy Kelly got involved in the boating business back in 1977 with hardly any experience in the marine industry (he didn't even know that you needed to winterize a boat before he made the purchase of a marina back in 77').  However, with a passion to learn and an overwhelming sense of obligation to take care of the customer, he slowly worked his way to develop a business model that is concentrated around taking care of the customer.  As co-founder of the Harbor Hop, Spring In-Water Boat Show, and Overland Park Boat Show, Randy has consistently has a concentration on making the Lake of the Ozarks a fun and safe place for families to enjoy their spare time on the water.
